Random update

Got a few things stirring. Been kinda lazy lately. Playing Final Fantasy V, reading on the newest Falconfar book and bouncing around on a few movies. Hope to have some new stuff up soon.

Avatar Movie Review

So I finally gave in and picked up Avatar to give it a shot (and to also buy the rifftrax for the movie, they are so awesome). How does this movie measure up the the hype and awards? Is it an epic masterpiece of unrivaled proportions, or is it another dime a dozen sci-fi/fantasy flicks that're good for a popcorn view and nothing else? Read on to see, be warned though, spoilers ahead.

Game Review - Transformers: War for Cybertron

Transformers, a series that began back in the 80s, and is a childhood love of mine. It has existed in some form or another over the years, from comics, CGI TV shows, and even big budget live action movies. From the great writing of the Beast Wars cartoon, to the awful writing and directing of Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers has it's highs and lows, and is full of memorable moments, both good and bad. The series has had a hand full of games over the years, most of them are forgettable or just flat out bad (like the Beast Wars game I used to have, it was so bad I sold it to Gamestop). The one game I read was pretty good was the Transformers Armada game for the PS2, though sadly, I never got around to picking it up.

But today we are looking at the newest Transformers game. It is not based on a show or movie, and is set as a prequel somewhat tied to the original Generation 1 cartoon. Millions of years ago on Cybertron, we see the early stages of the Great War between the evil Decepticons and the noble Autobots. Is it good? Is it bad? Read on to find out.

Upcoming Review

I've been quiet for a long while now, sorry. Been reading alot, gaming, and making the comic (which is currently my biggest time sink overall). My next review will be of the new Transformers: War for Cybertron game that has come out. I also got a couple of small things in the works, so stay tuned for that.
